Competition Divisions

WALK-WHOA DIVISION

WW · Beginner Designed for beginner riders, this division focuses on confidence, control, and basic horsemanship at the walk. Riders demonstrate safe handling, steering, and the ability to stop ("Whoa") effectively. An excellent introduction to the show environment.

WALK-TROT DIVISION

WT · Developing Ideal for developing riders comfortable at the walk and trot. Emphasizes rhythm, control, and consistency while building confidence in the show pen. Riders demonstrate the ability to maintain both gaits with smooth transitions.

WALK-TROT-CANTER

WTC · Advanced For riders confidently working at all three gaits. Highlights balance, control, and overall horsemanship with an emphasis on smooth transitions, correct positioning, and effective communication with the horse.

Entry Fees

$20

PER CLASS · NO LIMIT ON PARTICIPATION

Enter as many classes as you like — the $20 fee applies per individual class entry.

Required Documentation & Rules

📋 Coggins Test

A negative Coggins test dated within the past 12 months is required for all horses. Documentation must be ready for approval upon arrival and submitted at time of registration.

🗺 Out-of-State Entries

Out-of-state exhibitors must provide a valid health certificate in addition to Coggins documentation in order to participate.

📝 Required Waivers

Show-Me State Games Waiver
Stephens College Waiver

Both waivers must be signed and submitted at time of registration before competing.

🏃 Eligibility

All breeds and abilities welcome.
Therapeutic Horsemanship exhibitors are NOT eligible for other classes.
Riders must compete in the appropriate division for their skill level.

🔄 Division Crossing Rule

Horses may cross divisions; exhibitors may not. A horse may be shown by different riders in different divisions. However, an individual exhibitor must compete in the same division for all of their classes throughout the show.

Stall Reservations

Weekend Stalls — $125

Stalls are available for all participants for $125 for the full weekend and can be reserved at time of registration. Space is limited — early registration is highly encouraged to guarantee your stall for both show days.
