Registration opens 9:00am Friday, 8:00am Saturday and Sunday.  Registration closes at 12:00 noon Sunday.

30 minute relays start at 8:30am.  No relays started after 5:00 pm Saturday and 2:00 pm Sunday.


ENTRY FEE:

First Event for adults is $25.
Youth Events: $15.

Each additional event: $5.


DEADLINE:

Pre-registered entries must be postmarked or received via the internet no later than July 14. Entries will also be allowed the day of the event.


CHECK IN:

All shooters must check-in at their appropriate competition site at least 30 minutes prior to competition. All check-ins must occur on the day of the competition.

Format/Rules

  • Youth events are for participants age 16 & under on the day of competition.
  • Adult events are for participants age 17 & over on the day of competition.

 

  • Muzzleloader - Trap – 25 Birds (10 @ 10 Yards, 10 @ 16 Yards and 5 @ 20 Yards)
  • Muzzleloader – Skeet – 25 Birds (Standard Skeet)
  • Muzzleloader - Skeet Doubles – 24 Birds (Pairs on Station 1-7, then 6-2)

 

  • Black Powder Cartridge – Trap – 25 Bird (Standard 16 Yard)
  • Black Powder Cartridge – Skeet - 25 Birds (Standard Skeet)
  • Black Powder Cartridge – Skeet Doubles (Pairs on Station 1-7, then 6-2)
  • Black Powder Cartridge – 5 Stand – 25 Birds
  • Black Powder Cartridge – Sporting Clays – 50 Birds

 

GENERAL INFORMATION

*Smoothbore – Requires declaration at signup / registration if it is sighted or “MOHA Tradegun” and Inspection per NMLRA / MOHA smoothbore & Tradegun Rules.
MOHA Tradegun Rules: Flintlock Only, No set triggers, 28 ga (54 Caliber) Minimum. No rear sight above the plane of the barrel
NMLRA Smoothbore – Flint or Percussion Fixed Sights – Smooth bore, No Rifling in the barrel.

➢ No restrictions on sight. Any sight fixed, open, any metallic, and scopes OK
➢ Inline Muzzleloaders OK
➢ Lead Bullets with sabots OK, Hunter’s Match Targets Only!

NMLRA & Club rules enforced unless stated otherwise
➢ Fixed sight – Open Fixed or unadjusted adjustable. No adjustments during matches.
➢ Open Sights Pistol (May be adjusted)
➢ No Shooting Jackets (NMLRA Non-Jacketed Only)
➢ Round Ball only, unless specifically noted.
➢ All matches in a single aggregate must be shot with one gun.
➢ All matches are “open” and can be shot by either men or women unless otherwise indicated
➢ Range Officers may inspect equipment or persons at any time Smoothbores & Trade Guns Require inspection before firing
➢ Competitors are responsible for their own targets
➢ Place correct match sticker on the bottom right corner before posting target to be shot for score
➢ Leave all targets attached to cardboard
➢ Turning in targets after each relay
➢ Targets not turned in cannot be scored
➢ Check your posted scores and report missing / wrong – targets / scores
➢ All protests must be made within 30 minutes after the final posting of scores is announced
➢ Program subject to change pending rule changes and target availability
➢ All animal targets must be posted “natural” position
➢ Relays are 30 minutes
➢ Our Range is a Black-powder Muzzleloader Club Only – No other firearms may be used on our Range.
