Hickman High School Pool (1104 N Providence Rd) located at the intersection of Providence Road and Business Loop 70 in Columbia.

Deadline for entries is June 1.

Entries must be postmarked or received via the internet no later than June 1. All athletes must be pre-registered. Deck registrations or entries are permitted at the discretion of the commissioner. Late or deck registrations must be 30 minutes before completion of warm-ups. Late registrations will be $40. Pre-registered swimmers wanting to change events will be charged $5 per change.

CHECK IN:

All swimmers must check-in at the pool at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the first session in which they are swimming.

REMINDER: Be sure to indicate a PERFORMANCE TIME on the entry form next to each event you enter. All entry times must be Short Course Yards. All events will be pre-seeded based on entry times received.

Format/Rules

  • Swimmers may enter no more than 6 events each day.  (8 and under and relay events do not count toward the 6 events.)
  • Relay teams will be formed at the meet and will be mixed gender and open to any age combination.  A $5 deck entry fee will be charged for relay team members not entered in the meet.
  • A swimmers age is determined by their age on the first day of competition.
  • All events will be pre-seeded and swum as timed finals.
  • Medals will be awarded based on age groups and are as follows: 8 & under, 9-10, 11-12 13-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90-94, 95-99
  • 18 and Under events will be swum according to USA Swimming Rules and Regulations.
  • Masters events will be pre-seeded and swum without regard to age or sex in accordance with USS Masters Rules and Regulations.
  • Awards are given for places 1-3 in each age group. Awards for Masters events are given according to USS Masters Age Group criteria.
  • Approval for the meet to be secured from Missouri Valley Swimming, an LSC of USA Swimming, and from Missouri Valley Masters Swimming, as required by USS Masters Swimming Rules.  In granting this approval it is understood and agreed that USA Swimming shall be free and held harmless from any liabilities or claims for damages arising by reason of injuries to anyone during the conduct of the event.
  • Operation of a drone, or any other flying apparatus, is prohibited over the venue (pools, athlete/coach areas, spectator areas and open ceiling locker rooms) any time athletes, coaches, officials and/or spectators are present.

General Announcements

  • The competition course has not been certified in accordance with 104.2.2C(4).  This means no American records can be set at this pool.
  • Pool depth at the start end is 10'.  Pool depth at the turn end is 4'.
  • Use of audio or visual recording devices, including cell phones, is not permitted in changing areas, restrooms or locker rooms.
  • All changing into and out of swimming suits must be done in locker room.  NO DECK CHANGES.
