The Show-Me State Games has been honored to have some amazing speakers and special guests at our Opening Ceremonies, from Olympic Athletes to Hall of Fame honorees, but none more memorable and prestigious than the President of the United States.

George H.W. Bush spoke at the Show-Me State Games Opening Ceremonies in 1992. We are forever grateful to President Bush for his service of our country and how meaningful it was for him to inspire our athletes. Thank you so much to KOMU for this look back at a once-a-lifetime experience.
